630 Photo-Processed Engavings, Red cloth boards w/ gilt titles, darkened on spine. 1 inch tear to cloth at head of spine. Boards show moderate soiling, rubbing, corner/edgewear. Spine floating, hinges intact but threads showing (there are only 3 tapes sewn in for this immense volume.) Pages tops darkened, several blue ink checks, brief underlines scattered sparsely through pps, light foxing, otherwise clean. Very solid, very rare book in condition commensurate with age and rarity. Encylopedic volume details Scottish units, combatants and non-combatants alike, awards, actions, etc. A must for historians of the First World War or Scottish (Regimental) History. ; 672 pages
